I was impressed with the quality of satin used on this vest. It's a very high thread count which results in a very nice shine but I am not sure of the exact number of threads. I looked at other black satin vests but settled on this one because it was offered in a 40L size. I am 6'1" so, the regular vests are a bit short on me.
